I was brought up in Caol by Fort William, in the Highlands. Following 4 years in Glasgow studying I returned to the Highlands and worked in various roles related to the fishfarming industry. As a result I lived in various places across the Highlands, including Inverness, Skye, Aultbea and Lochcarron. In 2005 I decided to move to Barra where I now live. Good choice in my view.
